About Me

Yes, the mustache is natural!
Yes, the mustache color is real! No I have not gotten an offer from "Got Milk" yet.
I took my first step into game development by creating some modifications to "Starcraft I", when I was seven years old. 20+ years later, I've had the blessing to mix passion into profession; utilizing the skillsets I've learned from my mentors and colleagues (of which I can proudly call my friends) to lead and develop alongside on projects that younger me would've only ever dreamed to be a part of. In my off time, I enjoy getting consumed on modding projects of which some I plan to release to the public (...one day).

In 2015, I was attending Northern Virginia Community College. At the time, it didn't have any gaming courses to learn techniques from, so I made it my goal during my off time to research, implement, and hone my own skillsets through modding and online video tutorials. In the same year, with help from my brother I snuck my way into the George Mason G.A.D.I.G. club, learning many industry development practices from the 100+ members in the group and attending lectures from industry developers. That was my first instance of truly understanding the development process, until joining the "Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim" mod: Lordbound, which had a plethora of remarkably talented developers (many of which have gone into the industry) and I credit as my stepping stone into learning the many of the practices I utilize to this day. In 2020, my brother and I (plus one cool Scottish fellow) released a critically well-received Lovecraftian quest mod for Fallout 4 called, "Children of Ug-Qualtoth" [CoU] and are recent members to my newly started business!

Now I've moved into the professional contract space for the last 3+ years now, previously working at Allied Games on the title "Adventure Roll" and for the remainder working with Strange Scaffold on the titles "El Paso, Elsewhere" and "I Am Your Beast".

My most recent large project is starting my own business! RoKMod Studios LLC. is a fully-remote game development studio owned by myself and joined by my brother and a wicked Scottish Sound Designer. We have recently started production on a few small projects (more to be revealed in the future!)
